hello will be doing a roofing project in two weeks on whortleberry island was wondering if anybody had a dock i could rent from them for approx. 1 week to transport materials and leave boat overnight. thanks

I'm not sure anything can get in there in two weeks with the Lake so low. I have a place near there and my water level has dropped 2 ft. I would think most if not all docks are lifted/taken in by now.
You might want to check into a "work" boat that has a shallow draft. One that the front end drops down(ramp) or has some kind of lifting device. One could always use some floating platforms that rafts use to get material to shore. Good luck. Dave M |

I think Harilla is the closest launch. A few years back permits were issued to improve the site to better withstand the commercial use it receives. It should be deep enough. Barges tend to use it well into the fall. I don't know if the channel markers are left in year round or not.
