Can anyone explain why the increase in the release of water from the Lake to almost 800 cfs? Lake level down 4 inches from full as of Saturday 6/25.

It may have something to do with making sure there is water downstream in the river for the kayak event in Tilton/Franklin this weekend. The level of Silver Lake in Tilton/Belmont has gone up over a foot since Thursday and the water has to be coming from somewhere upstream. I think the races have been a yearly thing for the last several years.
