Gunstock Fatality Monday
15 year old from Gilford. Sad news.

So sad. Funny how something we all take as safe is deadly to some every year. Guessing from her age that she was wearing a helmet, but that was not enough this time

Very sad news hard to imagine with a helmet.
When I first skied Gunstock in the 60s there was no snowmaking and we actually had genuine powder, not the hard ice base that typical today. Feel so badly for her family and the community. |
