Default Water treatment companies

Our well water is considered hard and requires treatment with salt. We have been using a local company but it has been a less than satisfactory experience. Numerous service calls to fix faulty equipment, reset equipment and otherwise troubleshoot what even they acknowledge are problems with our water. We are at the point of needing to explore other companies in the lakes region after having exhausted our patience with this company. Does anyone have good experiences with their water treatment company?

Default A&B Water Systems in Meredith

I used A&B Water Systems in Meredith to install multiple devices to deal with hard water, arsenic, and uranium that was in our well water about 5 years ago. Had no problems and haven't had to get them http://www.fixyourwater.com/back.

Default Just switched to Clearwater.

We had multiple tanks, radon, arsenic, salt, osmosis and iron remover for a decade. A&B charged us $600 for annual maintenance. In the past year numerous calls to A&B for leaks etc. Big bucks! I saw Clearwater at a business expo, and they claim I don't need all those stuff!

Now I have a radon and arsenic removal. I had the water double check by UNH as a precaution. The other devices were not needed and I was spending tons of money for nothing. For second opinion give Clearwater a call!

You raise a good point. I had my testing done at the NH State facility over in Concord and got multiple bids/approaches to water treatment. There is no annual service needed except for adding the salt from time to time and getting a water test to make sure it's all working properly. After 5-8 years you may have to swap out the medium in the arsenic tanks.
