Super Moon this Sunday
Once a year we get a "Super Moon". It is this Sunday.
Weather guys... are we going to be able to see it? Moon Rise on Winni is 8.37PM, it should rise very RED.. the sun set is almost the same time.. 8.30. Here is the "path of the Moon from Big Pier at Lake Shore Park (you can see exactly the path of view from your own spot by going to this website: http://photoephemeris.com/tpe-for-desktop free download, very cool program for sunrise and sunsets anywhere in the world.) After it downloads to your computer just put a shortcut on your desktop and you'll alway be able to check sunrise and sunset. http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/sup...ry?id=19456312

Super Moon and Lightning
Well the super moon stayed pretty well hidden in all the crappy weather. Managed a few shot as it was setting.
This was taken on Long Beach at LSP this morning (6-24) at just after 5AM as the moon was setting. Caught a pretty good double lightning strike during last nights thunderstorms. Taken from Rocky Beach at LSP last night. (6-23)
