These double rainbow photos were taken from Rattlesnake Island immediately following the severe rain storm on 7/01. The rainbows originated on the north end of Wolfeboro Neck near the entrance to Winter Harbor. I thought that if the people owning these homes are forum members, they may be interested in seeing these photos.

RG and I were watching the same double that day just down the island from you. It was amazing to watch how far they shifted during the long display. We discussed doing a time lapse video the next time a bright one like that happens at that time of the day.

On 6/23 we saw this from Welch looking southwest. It looked like it was anchored near our house in West Alton. After repeated searching of all wooded 5 acres of our lot, there was nary a pot to be found.

It's amazing how much a rainbow changes in just a few minutes.
Great picture Slickcraft! I think the pot of gold is our great lake. A real pot of gold would be quite nice though. ![]() |
