3-4 inches of heavy wet snow along the "D" trail, a half mile off the lake and a half mile outside the Sandy Point area.

Update: now later in the day and just got back from a snowshoe walk on the D trail along Rand Hill Rd in Alton Bay, and the 3.5 inches is self compacted to about 2 inches. Drive with care on the trails right now, from my short exposure, the trails can be quite fragile.
