Still trying to figure out the workings of this storm. It appears the Meredith area got more rain than freezing rain while further south they got more freezing rain than rain. I would have thought that the Meredith area would have been spared by a larger area of ground level cold air resulting in more sleet than freezing rain but that doesn't appear to be the case.
