Yes you are seeing right. With out understanding what may have been done to the boat over two years, it is hard to tell.... But if tired engines where rebuilt or replaced, and systems updated, that really isn't a surprising price change.

There are many people out there, that by a boat, at a lower price, do work to it and then sell it for more.... As a buyer you have to be aware, of what was done and have confidence to know what it was done correctly, to know if your getting a good deal...

I have seen several boats, get overhauled and jump up in value. And when it is done correctly, it adds good value to the boat. What you have to be aware of is that some people, fix up the finishes but not the guts... thus even though a boat has good power and looks nice, if you really look you find that stringers and the transom are in need of repair......
