We met Donna in 2004 when she spotted Justine Barker, our Miss Winnipesaukee at that time. I told her about the picture and she pointed to herself and said, "That's me." She did become Miss Winnipesaukee later on.
She has a relative, Melissa DeGroot who competed in our pageant this year and in the past.
