Question ...new pickleball-WV?

It appears that the voters in the Town of Waterville Valley have recently voted YES to a warrant article for the WV-Elementary School for raising $70,000 for an outdoor hard surface play area which can be used for basketball and two pickleball courts.

Pickleball is usually played by older folks who are no longer able to play tennis. A pickleball court is one third the size of a tennis court so the pickleball game has a lot less territory to cover, plus the ball and paddles are a lot lighter and easier to use, but is still a fast paced and fun game.

Are you too worn out and too slow to play tennis ...... then, maybe pickleball is for you! While tennis has an overhand style serve, the game of pickleball has an underhand serve, that requires the serving hand to release the ball from below the waist of the server. Pickleball uses a wiffle ball type of a smooth plastic ball, and tennis uses a fuzzy tennis ball!

Does this mean there will be two new, outdoor pickleball courts sometime soon, somewhere in Waterville Valley .... like, probably close to the Elementary School?

.... no need to go with the traditional dark green court colors ....... add some color to your new courts ..... https://www.sportmaster.net/courtdesigner ... lets you play around with different court colors .....and pizzazz it up!

How's about an orange interior, and a red exterior, to simulate the red clay, and help warm up the play?
