Your recommendation is a great alternative, and a propane stove would eliminate, all the moving parts and electronics of a pellet stove, however, the cost of propane is getting extremely costly, and expected to rise, with new Govt. regulations soon to be being implemented by the Feds. !

A propane stove would also eliminate the issue without power failures, as this type stove does not need electricity to operate, except for any fans to move warm air. That particular issue could be controlled by connecting the stoves electrical connection to a small external generator.

Your thoughts appreciated, as well as rest of Forum members, who may have a 'propane' stove.
