Without addressing the politics of either candidates. I think a Governor living on the lake is a net positive.

The fear with a President was the security people overwhelming the lake. A Governor of a tiny state is not really an international target and the security presence should be minimal. Basically the NH state police can take care of the Governor. Only his neighbors would notice the difference.

Having someone who really knows the lake in Concord can only help. They really seem clueless at times, and don't seem to understand the complex historical tradeoffs between all the competing uses.
