I think after the repairs are made to the hull, shafts, struts, and props the larger issue may be the interior. The water in the boat rose above the engines and actually floated the cabin floorboards. It may take a while to figure out everything that the water damaged and come up with a repair plan.

At least it wasn't in June or July and he got the season to use the boat. At this point they will have all winter to make the repairs. As Phantom said, it is nice that no one was hurt.
