[Gunstock5K]

On Saturday October 4th @ 10AM Lakes Region Disabled Sports will host the 6th Annual Gunstock 5K Walk or Run Road Race . This dog friendly race will take runners and walkers on a scenic course from the base area at Gunstock, through some of the Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails and back to the base area. The course includes paved and gravel roads and trails with a limited number of hills. The 1st 150 participants will receive a race T-Shirt and swag bag giveaways. Added this year is a catered lunch and beer garden. There are great prizes for the top finishers and many great raffle prizes for participants. All proceeds will go to Lakes Region Disabled Sports. Lakes Region Disabled Sports (LRDS) is a special part of the Gunstock Ski Area and surrounding Lakes Region of New Hampshire where people with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges teap up with trained volunteers and learn to ski and snowboard. We have expanded our Dog friendly portion of the run/walk which is generously being sponsored by Blue Buffalo Dog Food. Virtual runners and walkers are welcome too!
