One rumor in Gilford is the tower was struck by lightning and hasn't been repaired. I have no idea if that's true or not but that's what the rumor is at the Gunstock Acres beach.
I do know that for years I was able to use my the hotspot on my VZ phone to work at the beach. Now this summer I cannot. The signal is 3G. It used to be 4 bars LTE. I guess it's a good thing we moved up here full time this winter or I would be spending little/no time at the lake.
