Something else to consider is that Gilford has a full time, paid fire department, as opposed to an on call fire dept.
Believe that Laconia and Gilford are full time, while Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Tuftonboro, Wolfeboro, and Alton are on call.

If you look at the manufacture's online catalog I would say the MP has the walk around cabin on their larger boats where as I have also seen they have some that are center consoles but those are typically a little smaller.

They are super cool and look like they are extremely rugged so an obvious choice for boats that see lots of use in all sorts of weather.
