What was scheduled to be a 1 hour talk explaining how and why the state became involved in dock permitting, what requires permitting now, and the underlying principles governing how decisions on applications are made turned into a little over 2 hours. It went so long because there was a fair amount of questions and discussion among those in attendance. The powerpoint presentation should be posted on the Commission's website soon if has not been already.
