My phone (Samsung S5) does not have GPS as far as I know. How do I do the above? What GPS is best for the area? How to I coordinate it with Navionics?

Samsung S5 has built in gps, I know I used to have one. For a smartphone thats already on "older" model but top of the line when new. You probably have Google maps app on your phone now, open that to confirm your gps.
