Default Another ice rescue

Mid-afternoon yesterday I saw a stream of fire/rescue vehicles, and two ambulances, racing down Moultonborough Neck Rd. I hoped it wasn't for two ice fishermen I had seen and who had taken snowmobiles out to their shack well off the Long Island Beach. But they were safely back off the ice when I went by a short time later.

Curious as to what the emergency was, I found this on the WMUR website: http://www.wmur.com/article/anglers-...saukee/9113562. At least nobody died in this latest incident, which was off the Harilla Landing area at the SE corner of LI. The Tuftonboro airboat was called in to help with the rescue. Only one angler was taken to the hospital. Another declined that. Today I noticed that the ice shack off the LI beach was no longer there.
