Only drawback is the heat is so dry, if you heat mostly with wood durring the winter the air in the house gets very dry. I use a humidifier to help out with that problem, anyone have any other suggestions?

You can buy an inexpensive black kettle just for woodstoves...probably available at your local woodstove dealer or even hardware store.
