Subaru recommends that you torque the drain plug to @32 ft/lbs.
I always torque mine to 32 ft/lbs because I'm not good at judging how tight I have it when I just use a wrench, especially when there is a crush washer involved.
Most people just go by feel with a wrench and it works OK for them.
