The summit of Gunstock shows that while rain fell just about everywhere else in the Lakes Region during last week's storm, on the mountaintop the precipitation fell as snow or sleet. Despite the unusually warm temperatures over this past weekend, the ski area remains open with considerable snow cover, according to its website.
