Time Warner (Spectrum, after Charter buyout) now has TWC TV thru devices like Roku. Been using Roku boxes for years. Not a "cord-cutter" yet, though.

It works well. You'll need enough Mbps (I've got the 50 Mbps) and you still have to be a subscriber.

The real issue, in my view, is "broadband" v. "cable". Different Fed. and state laws/regulations stifle competition.
