Yeap, I was told that too. I called back and gave them a quote from DirectTV and Metrocast says its like comparing apple to orange because of the channel line up. I told Metrocast
I am getting more channels for less money and they basically said 'Good for you' and that was that. So I wouldn't bother calling them back.
