Agree on the thanks, but perhaps not the pristine thought. Look at the smoke belching from the Mount and Lady in the pictures, a lot of the clear cutting in the backgrounds, etc. Some day take a look at the history billboards near Back Bay in Wolfeboro. Based on much of the history I've read, I would not be surprised to learn that the lake is now more pristine than it might have been during the times shown in these photos.
