Tree trimming in this case had little to do with all the outages. Hundreds upon hundreds of downed trees. Almost as bad as hurricane Irene. Nothing can be done to prevent this unless every powerline is under ground. This is a statewide problem from Canada to Mass. And thats just us. A good part of the northeast had the same damage so line crews are limited to move to other zones to help.
