I would think your 12 lb pup would be safe BUT better to be safe than sorry!!

Thanks for the reassurance, Dan! These birds of prey really are amazing and a complete joy to see. I am glad that my dogs don't usually hang on the dock to temp one. Lol.
My summer is going very well.
Paul is crazy busy, but we are both so glad that our plans to sell a few years ago fell through. (Thank you, God!) Working on improvements to make long-term island life easier. Our 15th season here!
I hope that you and yours all are having a good summer too!
