He did have to actually send (or deliver) it to an associate in Massachusetts because something inside was broken and he didn't have the equipment to make a new part. I visited with him one day and he said that he really is a cabinet maker, but got into clock repair because so many cabinets had clocks in them that also needed repair. He may be retired, he has had several birthdays! He is a page right out of Yankee Magazine, and his shop is unbelievable with gadgets and clamps.
