I hope you manage to get to the top of Mt. Washington.

We took the cog railway to the top: recommended.

For bathing and sunning yourself in the sand, it is hard to beat Ellacoya state park in Gilford.

When I fly back this August, no doubt I'll feel like "a stranger in a strange land" given the lack of fir trees in the background and the lack of older cars and pickup trucks on the New England roadside.
