I have no issue with someone fishing docks. I do think it is rude when they camp there versus just drifting by the dock and casting. I am an avid fisherman and I respect the privacy of homeowners. Just because someone can legally do something does not make it right.

I agree with your point on looking for a confrontation. To me it's pretty clear that this is a major pet peeve of his and he likely has a lot of experience responding to people that try to chase him off.
