MeredithMan, I went through the same drill that you did with Atlantic Broadband and got the same answers that you did.
If you read the fine print about what new customers will get after a certain period of time it states that they will pay what you and I are paying now. That means that some people will get an increase of $50 to $75..maybe even more.
I've looked into alternatives to Atlantic Broadband but so far I can't get anything that would give me the internet reliability/speed and bundles that I am getting now from ABB. Some are cheaper but you get what you pay for.
