1) "Common sense" is the rarity we have all been striving for: "reasonable and prudent"
is not.
2) "Near where we stay" is the language of a visitor to the lake: Winnipesaukee's lakefront
residents aren't the only complainants.

Come to think of it, under 45
is a "reasonable and prudent" speed. The vast majority of PFDs aren't capable of water impact at any greater speeds: If your PFD was purchased recently, look inside
yours—you'll see that disclaimer!
