On Saturday at about 2pm, there was a group of six snowmos, spaced well apart, that came from The Weirs, rounded buoy 3, and headed for Center Harbor. First and only snowmos, I've seen. Didn't see any on Sunday. Everything I can see, Gil-Gov-Tim-Mink-Mark-Bear is all frozen hard. Everything, except the little space between Horse Island and the mainland. That is open water.
Have not been out on the ice to drill any ice fishing holes....no idea how thick.....need to scrounge up the $35 fishing license money somehow? Instead, maybe I'll just go ice fishing after dark with that $25 battery operated, automatic, ice fisher-jigger....what a brite idea!
