NB: I tip a minimum of 20%, even with not great service, when being waited on.

The minimum wage for restaurant employees is less than those at retail stores as part of there wage is based on tips which is why I have always tipped for take out. Now obviously they are doing less work than a sit down meal so it’s not 20% that I normally leave but it’s always about 5.00.
