Thanks for the ideas, everyone. I've connected with my transfer station and a few people with "free" boats and $x00 trailers. Hoping to find something there.

Quick note on my "cheapness": as a teacher, I get paid on a combination of education and years of service. Starting pay is less than half of what top is, which means that--for many things, including my camp, extras, etc.--we've had to be frugal with whereas others--experiences--we can be more liberal.

I hope I've not come across as a cheapskate, but rather someone balancing the possessions and opportunities I'd like to provide my family/children and the reality of our financial constraints.

I'll post what happens today or tomorrow.
