The long-range US model has been hinting at a some snow for the end of the week for a while. I stopped looking at data for a couple of days and was surprised this morning to see 6-8 inches for a large area of New England (including the lakes) Friday night to Saturday night. The forecast discussion out of the NWS in Taunton, MA states the European and UK models are coming into concensus with the US model, while the Canadian model has less snow/more rain.
