I don't expect to see much in the broads any time soon. There is no extremely cold days coming up. We would need a good cold snap that runs for a few days to a week straight to really start to lock things up, preferably with no wind.

I don't ice fish so it doesn't matter to me. Later ice in means and earlier ice out and I am good with that.
