I actually agree with FLL here—the screens on some of today's vehicles are ridiculous. In fact, my wife's test drive of a new Ford Escape a couple years back was cut short when she couldn't figure out how to use the radio. We literally drove out one end of the parking lot and pulled in the next—100 yards, maybe—for the shortest road test ever.
Subaru, however—last I saw, at least—is much simpler, but my 4Runner, often criticized for being a dinosaur by new shoppers, is perfect.
