Telling it to the judge
I think I got an answer for that judge.
NH defines it as the following:
Ice fishing: Taking freshwater fish during the open season through man-made openings in the ice by the use of ice fishing devices.
Ice fishing device: Any device used to take fish through the ice, including a tip-up, jig stick, rod in hand or handline, exclusive of a
cusk fishing device.
They also set the time Ice-fishing is allowed.
Ice fishing in most New Hampshire lakes and ponds begins at “ice-in” and ends at “ice-out.”
And since ICE-OUT has not yet been OFFICIALLY declared, fish on!
