Jersey Girl
If I had known you were looking last fall I would have let you know about the one that died in our back yard. Some guys hunting/training with their bear dogs got onto one and hunted it down over the mountains from Ossipee and down through our property where it collasped from exhaustion and died before Fish and Game could get here. (It also had a broken leg) However we were able to actually walk up to it and nudge it's antlers (NOT recommended) to try and get it up and moving to no avail. Long story short we claimed it, dragged it out of the woods with a tractor and had it butchered for the freezer. 610 lbs of meat later the only moose I want to see for a long time is alive and walking through the woods somewhere. Hope you see one this year!
