You don't have to go far for services unlike the rural towns which also has appeal for sure. Well put, we also live in Londonderry and Formula summed it up nicely. It is missing the downtown “mainstreet” the OP was looking for, but has everything else. It is also a much better value than Bedford and Windham in my biased opinion.
