Saw one yesterday, heading towards Carry Beach. It had a white head, but its tail feathers were a mix of white and brown. This may be an identifier, should you see the same Eagle again.
Its flight was relaxed, and flew about 100 feet above the lake—over my head.
Later, a Loon surfaced within 50 feet of my sailboat, and made that short warning call, "Ah-oo". (So forget what I said about anxiety!)
