Default Wallet Found After 30+ Years

We had an interesting experience last night. While searching for a wreck, a wallet was found in about 60 feet of water near Minge Cove. Upon inspection we found a NH drivers license that had a 1983 expiration date, a birth certificate, some credit cards and a small amount of paper money that was very deteriorated and virtually unrecoverable.

Upon returning home, it took about 10 minutes of internet searching to locate the owner who is now almost 70 years old. We talked with him by phone and he's local enough that he's going to pick up the wallet later today.

Turns out he was sailing one day 30+ years ago and the wallet somehow went overboard. You just never know what you are going to find "down there"!
