It's the less-frequently seen (and shy) American CROCODILE.
Both co-exist in deep-South Florida, and would appreciate pool-noodles to raise their cooler bodies to gain solar warmth. (Which could catch on!)
Did the pool-noodle owner surrender it...or...or...
