It was agreed that a wall would be constructed halfway up the originally proposed beach such that if the sloped beached did not erode the wall would not be obtrusive but if the sand did erode it would provide a hard stop and allow the sand area above it to be maintained as a perched beach. The bisecting wall is what you see at the shoreline today. That 2001 permit was the only construction permit issued. The rest has been repairs. There has been no other permit for new perched beach construction on the site.
