Historically, yes but new Husqvarnas are computerized. My logger friends still like them but they definitely need to go back to the dealer for service.

One note, I have read that running your small engines out of gas is not recommended any longer due to the ethanol drying out the seals. Most shops sell pre-mixed ethanol free gas, I use that for storage now.
