I don’t think panjumble was trying to say don’t try and fight a small kitchen fire. I believe he was saying be careful what you use to fight the fire and know your limits. Trying to protect your electronic gear with exotic extinguishers that can be/are both highly hazardous to life and the environment is less important than protecting your life. You can replace your home & “stuff” with insurance proceeds. Your family & friends can’t replace you no matter how much life insurance you carry.
