Note the cow or bull silhouette or someone in costume on the stern. Looks like it might have been a parade of some sort as everyone is wearing similar hats. |
I went to Camp Idlewild in the mid-60s and remember diving on a on wreck around the mouth of the cove that is on the Camp Idlewild side of the isthmus... I recall that the story was of one of the first launches for the Camp that had caught fire and been pushed out to sink... but that was a long time ago and my memory is pretty hazy... a few years ago Misty Blue and I tried to find it again to no avail...
If SkprBob is online, he would know for sure as I believe he was my SCUBA instructor at Idlewild at the time!!
