Dude, I know stream heat. Trust me by 1947 they were installing forced hot water or hot air systems, try 1927.
. One pipe residential steam systems have vents that let air out of the radiator to allow steam in. Fast vent, quick steam arrival and more heat. Slow vent less steam into the radiator and less heat. Residential systems will heat on 2 psi or less of steam pressure BTW. End of today’s lesson, sorry for the thread drift.
